Terms of Service
1. Agreement to Terms
By accessing or using PackRun (“the Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including business owners, staff members, and pet parents accessing a customer portal.
2. Service Description
PackRun is a multi-tenant software-as-a-service (SaaS) platform for dog daycare and pet care businesses. The Service provides scheduling, attendance tracking, billing and invoicing, messaging, a customer portal, document management, and related features.
Each business operates as a separate tenant with logically isolated data. Your business data is not shared with or accessible to other tenants.
3. Free Trial
New accounts receive a 14-day free trial with access to all Business-tier features. No credit card is required to start a trial. At the end of the trial, your account enters read-only mode. All data is preserved — you simply cannot create new bookings, invoices, or records until you select a paid plan.
You may upgrade to a paid plan at any time during or after the trial.
4. Your Data
Your data belongs to you. We do not sell, share, or mine your business data or your customers’ data. We access your data only to provide the Service, respond to support requests, or comply with legal obligations.
You may export your data at any time using the built-in export features. We do not charge for data exports or impose lock-in.
5. Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate registration information and keep it current.
If you create staff accounts, you are responsible for their access levels and actions within the platform.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data
- Exceed reasonable rate limits or abuse API access
- Resell or sublicense the Service without written permission
- Interfere with the operation or security of the Service
7. Payment Terms
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. You connect your own Stripe account for customer payment processing — we do not charge transaction fees on payments you collect.
Upgrades and Downgrades
You may change your plan at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle.
Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time. There are no cancellation fees. Your account remains active through the end of the current billing period.
8. Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PackRun shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon cancellation, your data is preserved for 60 days. After 60 days, data is permanently deleted. You may export your data at any time during this period.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practicable.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days’ notice via email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
